Of course, of course

At the park yesterday, Molly abandoned the slides and swings to run, pointing, across a field to a house across the street.

There were three horses in a pen, and their owner was unloading hay and straw from his truck in the driveway. Seeing Molly’s interest, he invited us to come around and pet the horses. Oh, boy!

Mom held Molly while she pet the two older boys, then got to pet a “rescued” BLM program former wild horse. That guy loved Molly’s attention; a few strokes on his nose and he looked like he was about to fall asleep! I struck up a conversation with the owner while the girls enjoyed the horses (and the horses enjoyed a little alfalfa); he’d actually gotten into owning horses for his daughter. Nice man; Molly loved getting to meet those horses, too. šŸ™‚

Snow in the forecast again, we may dust off the sled one more time yet!

Ooooh! Ooooh! I want to see photos of Molly petting the horses!

Chances are that the sled will hardly have a chance to even GET dusty over the next couple months. So many years I have been fooled by the “nice days” during winter. So many years I have grumbled about the snow following the nice days.

It is wonderful that you guys are taking advantage of the nice days as they come along. Soon enough you will be taking advantage of the snow days as well.
